The immigration medical examination must be conducted by a physician (also known as a “civil surgeon”) approved by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a component of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS); Imperial County Public Health Department Health Officer, Dr. Stephen Munday is certified as a civil surgeon.
